The Gift

Tammy Cotton and Schledia Phillips

Tammy was the winner of our drawing, so she won a copy of The Six, one of the props from the movie. In the book, Wildflowers, Susan Blackman gives Aster McGrath a copy of The Hobbit for Christmas. When we made the movie, I got permission to use The Six by K. B. Hoyle. It is signed to Aster by Susan on the inside cover. I drove out to Tammy's home and delivered her prize! Congratulations, Tammy. I hope you enjoy the read.

Starting at 7:00 pm Central time on October 3, you can cast your vote on which movie poster you want to see as the Official Wildflowers Movie Poster. The contest will end at 7:00 pm on October 10, 2017. Voters will have their names placed in a drawing to win a movie prop. Cast your vote in the comments HERE on my author blog in order to have your vote counted. I can't wait to see which one wins! Coming Soon!

We've decided to have the audience join us in picking out the Official Movie Poster for Wildflowers. The artist is working on the second option for a poster as I am typing.

What we've decided to do is share both options on my author Facebook page and have a vote. Each person who casts a vote will have their name put in a drawing. At the end of the voting week (coming soon), the poster with the most votes will be chosen, and a name will be drawn. The winner will get a movie prop sent to them, but shush...we can't reveal which prop it will be. ;-)

Be on the lookout. Go to my Facebook author page, Schledia Phillips, Author, like my page, and keep your eye out for the contest.

Have a wonderful day!

And the Love Triangle Begins...

Meet Lyndan Anderson. Lyndan is taking on the role of Shane Garrish, the preppy senior interested in the new girl in town. He is furious when he finds out she has befriended Aster McGrath, the young man branded by the town of Bayville as a bad seed. Will Shane's instinct be to protect Susan Blackman from the son of a murderer? or will he cower down and leave her to fend for herself?

Lyndan is a voice actor, but he decided to step out of his comfort zone and take on the role of Shane.

Meet the Moms

Photography by Ronnie Blakeney of South Shore Photography

Meet the actresses taking on two major roles in Wildflowers!

Lara Seidel will portray Sharon Blackman, mother of Susan Blackman, and Cathie Perez Reyes will portray Loretta McGrath, mother of Aster McGrath.

Both of these ladies are extremely talented, and I'm looking forward to having the opportunity to watch them as they bring these characters to life. The roles of Sharon and Loretta are both pivotal to the development of the story. The casting of these two gorgeous ladies held a high priority for the film group. Finding the perfect matches was important, and I'm excited to say we found two amazing women to fill the roles.
